PMR Training and Development is owned by John Smart, PMR Training and Development Director.  John has held senior management positions gained in consultancy, SMEs and FTSE 100 companies, within a diverse array of industries.  He has experience of working nationally and internationally, more recently in the Middle-East.


He has worked with many senior HR professionals and Board members of FTSE and SMEs, as both advisor and facilitator, as well as individually as an Executive Coach.  His roles have included responsibility for Performance Management, Talent Development, Learning and Development, Change / Transformation Management, Organisational Development, at company and strategic level.


John is also author of his book: 'PROUD - Achieving Customer Service Excellence'.  The book describes the innovative and transformational customer service PROUD Principle®

from concept through to implementation.


Through his company, PMR Training and Development, John provides a range of professional learning and development consultancy services, which include: advising and facilitating development interventions, executive coaching, talent management,  PROUD Principle® - customer service workshops, ACTIVE Coaching® soft-skills workshops, management and leadership development, behavioural competency and psychometric assessment, as well as TEAMColours® team profiling.


John holds a
