What’s the workshop about?

 

One of the biggest transitions in a career is the step from a general position to that of a managerial position, whether as a supervisor, team-leader or manager.   To suddenly go from being a member of the team to then leading the team can be very daunting.  In some instances people will be given this career promotion in a ‘sink or swim’ mentality with no formal training or development.

This workshop has been specifically designed to equip newly promoted (or those already in post with little or no training) in providing essential development to undertake the role effectively and efficiently.

 

On the workshop you will learn about the role of starting your career in line management as the supervisor / team-leader, delegation, problem solving, team dynamics, motivation  and managing the performance of your team.
